Que Pasa Corn Tortillas
We like to keep have these corn tortillas on hand from time to time. They are delicious, and have simple ingredients, which is always a bonus. We use them for tacos and wraps, and we also like to make baked tortilla chips by cutting them with a pizza cutter and baking for a few minutes.
Nature’s Path Cereal Heritage Flakes
We throughly enjoy Nature’s Path cereals. We like to eat bowls of cereal with fruit or dried fruit. I like to have this cereal as a crunchy topping over oatmeal, and we use it as a snack as well.
Coconut Secrets Soy-Free Seasoning Sauce (Coconut Aminos)
We sometimes like using coconut aminos in recipes instead of using soy sauce or tamari. We mix it up though and usually rotate through having coconut aminos on hand, then soy sauce, or tamari depending on what we can find, what’s on sale etc… Coconut aminos have a slightly different flavour than soy sauce, it’s a bit lighter and subtle. In case you’ve never tried it, it doesn’t taste like coconut!
Simply Delish Chocolate Instant Pudding
We have purchased this pudding before, and we enjoy it from time to time! It’s especially yummy topped with some fresh fruit.
Celestial Seasonings Madagascar Vanilla Tea
Everyone in the house loves tea! We hadn’t tried this particular flavour before, but I gave it a try and really enjoyed it! It’s a warming, comforting vanilla rooibos tea.
Dandies Vanilla Flavoured Marshmallows
We gave our first impressions of these vegan marshmallows in a previous post and video. They are an extremely sweet treat, and our household was very divided on our opinions of them. This is our second time purchasing them, and I’m sure we will buy them on occasion.
LARABARS
Every so often, we like to pick up a few Larabars to have on hand. They are made with minimal ingredients like dried fruit, nuts, and nut butters. Some of them also have chocolate chips in them. Chocolate chips or not, they are scrumptious! We like to take them on the go if we will be out hiking or doing something active. We also like to chop them up into bite-sized pieces and share them for a snack alongside some fruit or a cup of tea.
Green Beaver Natural Mineral Kids Sunscreen
A cruelty free, vegan sunscreen that we like to use. It does need to be rubbed in quite well (like any lotion sunscreen). It has a mild fragrance.
I also picked up a couple of items at the pharmacy, and thought they were also worth mentioning. Essence Cosmetics is cruelty free and also has some vegan options.
Essence Lash Princess – Sculpted Volume Mascara
When I first went vegan, I found out that my go-to Essence mascara wasn’t vegan. I’ve tried quite a few different mascaras since then, but several were on the more expensive side. I have heard great things about Essence Lash Princess Mascara, and was excited to find out that the Sculpted Volume version is vegan! So far, I’m really enjoying this mascara!
Essence Fruit Kiss Caring Lip Balm – Pineapple Vibes
I was in need of a new lip balm and found this one. Ryerden and I tried it, and we both really liked it! It has a fresh and sweet scent, and feels soft and nourishing on the lips.
