



Barbecue Sauce (Vegan, Oil Free)

Ingredients
- 1 can tomato paste (about 7-8 tbsp)
- 2 tbsp date syrup – https://plantfitmeg.com/2020/07/15/date-syrup/ (or maple syrup)
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water (more as needed)
- 4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/8 tsp cayenne (optional)
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a medium sized bowl.
- Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
- Add more water to thin slightly as desired.
